Unitrans in South Africa / Swaziland

Sugar
Unitrans enjoys a rich history in South Africa as a supplier of logistics to the sugar industry.   Our blue and white trucks transport sugarcane to regional sugar mills and our bulk sugar and molasses tankers move mill products downstream for refining or processing.  We also transport a significant amount of milled sugar into the food distribution system.   In Swaziland too, we are active in sugar, providing service both to commercial MCPs such  as Tongaat-Hulett on the Tambankulu estate, as well as to small scale growers.

Forestry
The patented Unitrans-Multidrive™ which has distinguished itself as a winning solution for infield sugarcane haulage is now making a name for itself in our Mpumalanga forestry operations.  The unit manoeuvres well on and off forestry roads and is most notable for its ability to eliminate the need for the short haul, except in extreme terrain.
